• SLCMC actively fosters local employment opportunities, providing both skilled and unskilled jobs to empower surrounding populations.
• Addressing critical community needs, the company has installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants of 6000 GPD to supply safe drinking water.
• Operates a fully equipped, 24-hour medical dispensary to ensure emergency healthcare access for workers and residents alike.
• Education is a cornerstone of our social investment. We have rehabilitated primary schools such as SWWB Primary School, supplying essential resources including textbooks and uniforms to support underprivileged children and promote inclusive education

On 22nd Aug 2025

Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company (SLCMC) and the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Management (IEEM) at Mehran University Jamshoro signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation. The agreement facilitates field visits and internship opportunities through SLCMC, while IEEM MUET Jamshoro will provide access to laboratory, research, and training facilities. This collaboration aims to enhance practical learning and research for both institutions.

Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company is providing a 6000 GPD RO water purification system to ensure safe, clean water for mining operations and local communities. This initiative protects health by reducing high mineral content in groundwater and supports equipment reliability, demonstrating our commitment to community welfare and environmental responsibility.
